Rick – Founder and President
Hello, my name is Rick McFadden. And, I love enhancing homes. After a stint as an artillery officer in the Marine Corps, I went to the University of Illinois for a Masters in Business Administration. Then, I spent two decades running departments for companies including Borg-Warner, KForce, Pulte, Zions Bancorp, and Chase. The last fifteen years were spent running residential mortgage processing departments. During this time, I learned that homes are one of the most important things to everyone, just as it is for me.
For ten years prior to opening Enhance, I provided handyman services part-time on the weekend. Enhancing people’s homes is something that I enjoyed. Then one day, the light bulb went on. I thought, “I enjoy fixing stuff, so why am I not doing this all the time?”
So in January of 2018, Enhance opened for business so that I could do what I love on a full-time basis. And the “what I love” is to show-up on time, do excellent work, and leave the work area clean so that you have a more enhanced, comfortable home to enjoy!
Well, here we are. Over 4,000 families served, multiple vehicles, a boat load of tools, and a team of great people that share my passion. America is truly a place to pursue happiness.
Meet the Team
Nick – General Manager
About: Nick played college football at University of Wisconsin – Stout. He has been in the remodeling/enhancement industry for over 20 years. He is married with two kids and two cats. In his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with his family, playing guitar, and fishing.
Favorite part of the job: seeing the client’s happy face at the end for the enhancement.
Jason – Enhancer
Responsibilities: enhancing homes and client satisfaction.
About: Jason and his wife have two children. Much of his off-time is spent watching the kids sporting events.
Favorite part of the job: finishing a project and seeing a smile on the client’s face
Favorite tool: utility knife
Edgar – Enhancer
Responsibilities: enhancing homes and client satisfaction.
About: Edgar and his wife have three children, a dog, and a hamster. During his off time, he is busy with church activities, camping, fishing, and hanging out with the family.
Favorite part of the job: solving problems
Favorite tool: oscillating saw
Logan – Enhancer
Responsibilities: enhancing homes and client satisfaction.
About: Logan was recently honorably discharged from the US Marine Corps. Having grown up working on homes and cars, he is putting his skills to work enhancing homes in our community.
Favorite part of the job: doing work that is meaningful
Favorite tool: impact driver
Abby – Office Manager
Responsibilities: handling company administrative tasks.
About: Abby is a registered nurse with experience in the Emergency Department. She is mother of two. When not working, she is a voracious reader, international traveler, and avid hiker.
Favorite part of the job: supporting our clients by keeping the back office running smoothly.
